The EMBA-Global curriculum is comprehensive, rigorous and demanding. The timetable enables highly-focused learning, minimising your time spent away from the office and ensuring optimum learning impact.Â
Key elements of the programme
- The 2025 programme begins in May and runs for 20 months.
- Core courses are taught in six or seven-day residential blocks, alternating between London and New York.
- Both schools make an equal contribution to the teaching of the core courses, with faculty travelling to teach wherever the class is in residence.​
- You have access to the elective portfolios of both London Business School and Columbia Business School.
- You also study in one or more other markets as part of the international seminars or assignments.​
- The collaborative learning environment means you learn from the experiences of your fellow students, as well as from faculty.​
Programme support
Dedicated programme support team
You are fully supported by a programme team with staff based in London and New York. They will provide you with information and advice on your elective portfolio or on class-week logistics and events. Regardless of your location, you’ll have access to the Programme Managers for the duration of the programme via email, Skype or telephone.
Outside of class
A large portion of out-of-class interaction takes place via the intranets of both London Business School and Columbia Business School. These interactive portals will allow you to access course materials, homework assignments, postings from fellow students, elective selection polls and much more. You will also have a dedicated EMBA-Global student site which will provide you with all academic policies and regulations, timetable and elective information as well as class recordings and upcoming events scheduled during your class-weeks.
