Sponsorship and company support
Build your case for support
Studying on the EMBA-Global is a partnership between you and your employer, with the goal of supporting your long-term development and helping you to realise your potential within the organisation. You must be sponsored in terms of the required time away from the office for classes and study. Many of our EMBA-Globals are also reimbursed by their company for tuition and other expenses. To help build your case:
The EDF Corporate University has been sponsoring students on London and Columbia Business Schools' EMBA-Global programme for four years. Our objectives are twofold: to develop leadership skills and professional expertise at the highest level, and to create a community of future top executives sharing common cutting edge methods. EMBA-Global is highly demanding for students, but gives ROI to the company from the flexibility that comes from the global mind-set they acquire. We see great value in the cross-cultural confidence and diverse professional network that those on the programme develop. The programme's reputation for excellence and the standing of the faculty aligns well with EDF group's worldwide ambitions in the energy sector.
David Jestaz, EDF Group, Head of the Corporate University
To secure this kind of commitment, you will be required to draw up a detailed business case outlining your reasons for wanting to undertake the programme and the benefits you feel it will bring not only to yourself, but also to the company. Please contact us for support and advice on this.Â
