Sponsorship and company support

Companies sponsor EMBA-Global students as a means of investing in their most valued employees and in the future of their firms. You must be sponsored by your organisation in terms of time away from the office, including both class time and study time. Many EMBA-Global students are also fully or partially sponsored financially.

"The EDF Corporate University has been sponsoring students on London and Columbia Business School's EMBA-Global programme for four years. Our objectives are twofold: to develop leadership skills and professional expertise at the highest level, and to create a community of future top executives sharing common cutting edge methods.

"EMBA-Global is highly demanding for students, but gives ROI to the company from the flexibility that comes from the global mindset they acquire. We see great value in the cross-cultural confidence and diverse professional network that those on the programme develop.

"The programme's reputation for excellence and the standing of the faculty aligns well with EDF group's worldwide ambitions in the energy sector."

David Jestaz
EDF Group, Head of the Corporate University

To secure this kind of commitment, you will probably be required to draw up a detailed business case outlining your reasons for wanting to undertake the programme and the benefits you feel it will bring not only to yourself, but also to the company.
